“Weather or Not” New Release

Good evening everyone! Just wanted to share a new collection I have been working on called “Weather or Not”. Isn’t that a great name?! I can’t take credit for it though, since my very talented friend, Janice came up with it! This kit is perfect for outdoor adventures, sporting events and stormy pictures. It’s also on sale 40% off until October 17! Also don’t forget that all my products are Scrap for Hire friendly! Check it out!

Weather or Not New Release

New Release!

Hi Everyone! I’ve been working hard to revamp a kit that I previously released about 4 years ago. I’ve added quite a few new papers and lots more elements! This kit features 17 papers and 43 elements, including a fun polka dot alpha which has a transparent background. Try using it as is, or throw a glow or shadow behind the letters for a totally new effect! Also my 40% off Grand Opening Sale is still going on through Sunday, March 22nd so take advantage of the great savings on everything in my store… including the new Sweetheart Page Kit!

June House Party Blog Hop – Inspiration & Tutorial

Hi Everyone! Welcome!

My name is Jen Dipzinski and I’m very excited to be a part of the June House Party Blog Hop! This month’s color theme is titled “Whimsy” and the kits created from this are FA-BOU-LOUS! What an amazing array of colorful, bright, fun kits perfect for summer photos! You can check out out all the Whimsy kits by clicking on the image below:

Remember these kits are on sale, 30% off, through June 5th.

My contribution to the Blog Hop is a bit of inspiration and a tutorial. This layout is of my precious daughter, Gracie, 2 summers ago when we had a photo shoot done.

I decided to do something different by “cutting” circles from my selected papers. I then picked a brush out (I picked stars), adjusted my size, angle, spacing, and scatter options in the brush preset menu before drawing the stars around one of the circles. Make sure you do this in a new layer, not the layer that contains your actual circle. I then selected one star with the Magic Wand Tool, clicked Select, Similiar. This will select all of the stars. Keeping these selected, I clicked on the layer with my “paper” circle and hit delete. You should have a cut out of your design from the paper circle. Next click Layer, Layer Style, Drop Shadow and set your desired shadow preset to make your cutouts more prominent. The presets I chose were:

This will make your circles look like punched pieces of paper. To make the cutouts appear more realistic, don’t put too heavy of a shadow on them.

I hope you’ll enjoy the Whimsy House Party Kits and take advantage of the great sale!

I’m also very excited to announce that I have joined the amazing Designers here at DHD! My store is also on sale, 30% off, through June 5th! I’m slowly but surely loading my products into the store so stop by again to see what else I have added each week!

Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day!

The Peas are hopping for Digital Scrapbook Day
and this is my post on the journey!

You should have come from Jackie Doremus and your next stop will be back to the Two Peas Digital Blog where you will get your final letter! If you get lost along the way you can pop along to the Two Peas Digital Blog to get the complete list. At each station there will be part of a code for you to collect. At the end of the line (so to speak) you will have a complete code that will allow you access to the fabulous collaboration FREEBIE (limited time only) in the Two Peas Store.

My own contribution for the DSD Collaboration Kit is this:

Here’s a bit of inspiration that I thought you might enjoy using my kit plus other fun goodies from the collaboration!

I’m also giving away a FREEBIE on my Facebook Page for anyone that wants to hop over there and “Like Me”! Some cute versatile jounaling cards!

As well as this freebie there are a range of challenges to inspire you, each of which gives you the chance to win a $5 gift certificate to the Two Peas store.
The challenges can be found here.

I hope you enjoy your freebie and find time to join in with our challenges.

The part of the code from my stop is:

Digital Scrapbooking Day 2012!

We are in full preparation mode – you know, party planning central! Here’s a peek at what we’re doing for this once a year digital extravaganza!

Our digital designers and creative team members have put together a blog hop where you can score a gorgeous collaboration freebie. In order to make it easy on you, instead of picking up minis to download at each stop, you’ll simply find the pieces to a coupon code. Then you can bring it back to the store to get this whole collaboration for exactly $0 – that’s right FREE. We’ll have the complete list a blog hop stops here and in the digital forum on Saturday morning. Happy DSD to you all of you!

We are having a weekend long store-wide sale of our digital products. Every single thing in the digital store, including new releases,  will be 25% off on Saturday AND Sunday. And as if that isn’t enough we’re having a specialDSD release date. There will be brand spanking new “stuff” in the store, including this month’s Pea Soup. Make sure you stop by and take a look at all the designers have put together for you.

Our digital creative team members will be hosting challenges throughout the day. Check back here, at the blog, or in the forums for links. Challenges are a great way to give yourself a scrapbooking kick start, and can be a fun way to get to know your fellow Peas. There will be all kinds of inspiration to keep you scrapping. Plus every single challenge will have a gift certificate winner – which if you ask me, you may as well use while things are on sale. Justsayin’.

Lots of new goodies!

I’ve been working on some fun new celebration kits these past couple of weeks. The new Celebrate Today series has crinkled Washi Tape, bright colorful Papers and a fun, funky Alpha that all coordinates together! These kits can be used for anything that you might celebrate… birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, holidays, etc! Stop by Two Peas and check them out!
