“Weather or Not” New Release

Good evening everyone! Just wanted to share a new collection I have been working on called “Weather or Not”. Isn’t that a great name?! It’s also on sale 40% off until October 17! Also don’t forget that all my products are Scrap for Hire friendly! Check it out!

June House Party Blog Hop – Inspiration & Tutorial

Hi Everyone! Welcome!

My name is Jen Dipzinski and I’m very excited to be a part of the June House Party Blog Hop! This month’s color theme is titled “Whimsy” and the kits created from this are FA-BOU-LOUS! What an amazing array of colorful, bright, fun kits perfect for summer photos! You can check out out all the Whimsy kits by clicking on the image below:

Remember these kits are on sale, 30% off, through June 5th.

My contribution to the Blog Hop is a bit of inspiration and a tutorial. This layout is of my precious daughter, Gracie, 2 summers ago when we had a photo shoot done.

I decided to do something different by “cutting” circles from my selected papers. I then picked a brush out (I picked stars), adjusted my size, angle, spacing, and scatter options in the brush preset menu before drawing the stars around one of the circles. Make sure you do this in a new layer, not the layer that contains your actual circle. I then selected one star with the Magic Wand Tool, clicked Select, Similiar. This will select all of the stars. Keeping these selected, I clicked on the layer with my “paper” circle and hit delete. You should have a cut out of your design from the paper circle. Next click Layer, Layer Style, Drop Shadow and set your desired shadow preset to make your cutouts more prominent. The presets I chose were:

This will make your circles look like punched pieces of paper. To make the cutouts appear more realistic, don’t put too heavy of a shadow on them.

I hope you’ll enjoy the Whimsy House Party Kits and take advantage of the great sale!

I’m also very excited to announce that I have joined the amazing Designers here at DHD! My store is also on sale, 30% off, through June 5th! I’m slowly but surely loading my products into the store so stop by again to see what else I have added each week!

Craft Gossip.com

Last week I was so happy to receive an email from Francine Clouden asking me if she could feature my layout for the Friday, November 9th post at Craft Gossip.com! She is the editor for the Scrapbooking Section of Craft Gossip.com, a fabulous website that has all kinds of DIY and handmade crafts ideas from candle-making to scrapbooking! Francine is an extremely talented lady who lives in France and has a blog called Callaloo Soup that I was drooling over! I was so excited that she picked my layout, “Last Ride” after seeing it in the Two Peas Gallery! I was unable to blog about this exciting news due to being gone for work these past few days, however, I wanted to make sure that I posted this today. Thank you again Francine for featuring my layout! I’m so honored that you choose me!
